Welbeing appointed to housing framework

Welbeing is delighted to be appointed as a supply partner to Consortium Procurement’s services Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) framework.

The Northern Housing Consortium represents the views of housing organisations and currently has 451 members in local authorities, Arms Length Management Organisations (ALMOs), Registered Providers (RPs) and other stakeholder organisations involved in housing.

Consortium Procurement has over 20 years’ experience in the telecare products and services market through their previous PASA and Assisted Living frameworks and provides a trusted, compliant and easy–to–access route for members to procure their telecare requirements. In 2015 they re–tendered the Assisted Living framework to create the new Technology Enabled Care Services (TECS) framework. The reason for doing this was to ensure that members are able to access the products and services they require with maximum flexibility.

In conjunction with the TSA (Telecare Services Association) and technical experts it was decided to split the framework into two lots (product provision with installation and services).

Successful partners were appointed that offered the most economically advantageous tender in terms of skills, expertise, quality and cost effectiveness, ensuring efficiencies for our members.

43 suppliers were invited to submit PQQ expressions of interest and 15 successful bidders were appointed to the framework.
