Careium secures wins on Northern Housing Consortium framework

Careium has secured wins on the Northern Housing Consortium Framework Agreement for Technology Enabled Care Services. Success was across three lots: Lot 1 – Product Catalogue, Lot 2 – Installation and Lot 4.3 – Call Monitoring with Mobile Response, demonstrating our comprehensive range of products and services and ability to deliver these to a high standard.

The Framework allows the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC) to make appointments under the Framework by either direct call-offs or mini-competitions on behalf of its current and future member organisations.

Consortium Procurement has been a trusted procurement route for social housing, local authority, and registered providers for 30 years. Their Technology Enabled Care Services framework has typically saved its members up to 13.4% compared to direct-to-supplier purchases.

The framework gives members access to catalogue updates every six months, ensuring they have up-to-date access to the latest telecare equipment. There is also no minimum spend, meaning clients can only buy what is necessary, offering great value for money.

Lauren Purser, Director of Customer Operations, said, “We are delighted to have been successful on the NHC Framework. This enables us to further support social housing providers in delivering high-quality, technology-enabled care services to their residents. We look forward to working with NHC members and delivering significant cost savings and improved resident outcomes”.
