The Supra C500 key safe was designed after extensive consultation with users and has police approval for being tested on outside brick and concrete walls.

This approval is recognised by ‘Secured By Design’ and leading home insurance companies. This mechanical key safe box has achieved LPS 1175: Issue 6, Security Rating 1 security rating, which means it has undergone a series of rigorous and demanding tests devised by security experts (the LPCB), who concluded that, when installed as directed, the Supra C500 key safe is as attack resistant as a domestic front door.

Please note to maintain the Police Accreditation, the C500 must be installed into brick or dense concrete, not breeze block or mortar. When installed and used as intended, this key safe is covered by a 2-year guarantee against manufacturing faults.

What is the key safe supplied with?

This key safe comes with a weather cover and 4x wall tapping screws that do not require wall plugs.

How will people access my property in an emergency?

Make sure that access to your home can be gained, especially if you cannot answer the door yourself. If no one can act as a key holder for you who is always available and lives nearby, then you must ensure that you have a key safe and that the keys you supply will open the door.

You will also need to ensure that there are no hazards on your property, such as dangerous animals. You must make sure we can always gain access. Only use locks that the keys you supply will open, and do not make use of chains or bolts that prevent services from gaining entry. You can, of course, have a chain you put on before you open the door so you can check who is calling.

We, or the emergency services, may need to enter if we receive an alarm call. If we cannot gain entry by key, we may have to arrange forced entry to ensure you are alright. We will not be responsible for any damage caused in this way or costs incurred due to damage caused to affect an entry.
