“I really love my job as it is very varied, calls can be anything from a test call of new equipment, to a serious incident that requires the emergency services. They can also be calls that make you smile, such as a gentleman that likes to tell me how his plants are doing. I get to be that comforting voice on the end of the line ready to provide any and all the assistance someone needs, even if it is just a friendly ear. We are not just there for emergencies, we are there for support too, and I go home feeling I have supported the people in our society that really need it.”
